PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Effective October 23, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information The Profitable Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects through the website at theprofitablestudio.com, why we collect it, who handles it, and how to contact us. It describes how the site works on the effective date above.
Information you give us
The site has a contact form and an online booking tool for the free Clarity Call. Depending on what you use, you may give us:
- Contact form: first name, last name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), studio name, the topic you want help with, and your message.
- On the contact form: your acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy, which is required to send the form, and a separate optional choice to receive occasional emails from us. Neither box is ticked in advance.
- Booking tool: the details you enter when you book a call, such as your name, email address, phone number and the time you choose. A video meeting on Zoom is created for each booking, and the meeting details are sent to you by email.
The contact form also records the page you submitted it from.
How form submissions are handled
When you send a form, your browser sends it to this website’s server. The server checks it and emails it to us. We also use, or may use, a customer relationship management service (HubSpot) to store the contact details you submit through these forms. The website does not load HubSpot’s tracking code.
The Profit Calculator
The figures you enter into the Profit Calculator are used in your browser to show illustrative results. They are kept in your browser’s session storage and are not sent to us or saved on our servers.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page, the server that delivers this site receives technical details your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. The site also loads Google Fonts from Google’s servers, so your browser contacts Google too. See our Cookie Policy for what we found the site stores in your browser.
How we use information
We use the information you give us to respond to your message or request, to schedule and prepare for a call, to keep our own records of enquiries, and, only if you chose the optional box, to send you occasional emails about studio cash flow and new resources. You can ask us to stop those emails at any time by writing to jennifer@theprofitablestudio.com.
Who handles information for us
We use service providers to run the site and handle your messages. These include our website host, the email service that delivers form submissions to us, our booking tool, the video meeting service used for calls (Zoom), and the customer relationship management service described above. We have not set up advertising or analytics tools on this site.
Your choices
You can choose not to send a form, or to give only the information you are comfortable sharing. You can contact us at jennifer@theprofitablestudio.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. You can also change cookie and storage settings in your browser.
How long we keep information
We have not published fixed retention periods. We keep the information you give us for as long as it is needed to respond to you and for our business records.
Children
This website is intended for studio owners and business operators, not children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.
